CCC’s Favorite Things

The holidays are here!  One of my favorite things about this season is gift giving!  Who doesn’t love to pick out the perfect gift, perfectly wrap it and present it to the giftee?!  I’ve compiled a list of Oprah’s  my favorite things.  Sometimes I wish I was Oprah for the sole purpose of being able to create a gigantic list of gifts (some of which are ridiculously priced for the average gifter) and be able to give them all to everyone!  I’m not Oprah, and I can’t give you all of these things, but I can tell you what I’m loving this holiday season and where you can find it!  Hopefully that is good enough for you 😉

P.s. All of these websites are having super Black Friday Deals, so be sure to check them out ASAP!

Gold Ink Temporary Tattoos
Where to Buy:
Price:  $1.95 & up

I’ve talked about temporary tattoos previously in my blog, but just to emphasize my love for them, I’m including them in my favorite things.  These are great and especially during the winter months when you’re wearing a bulky sweater and can’t fit tons of bracelets stacked.  I wore mine yesterday for our Thanksgiving feast!  You can never go wrong with a little extra bling!

i love sunday Shirt
Where to Buy:
Price:  $98.00 (the website is having a lot of sales and if you go to Oprah’s favorite things page you can get a discount)

I stole this off of Oprah’s 2014 favorite things list and it is SO COMFORTABLE!  What more could you ask for on Sunday?  Comfy shirts are  a staple for this lazy day.  This long sleeved shirt comes in a few different colors and is super soft and super cozy.

Morphe Eye shadow Palettes
Where to Buy:
35 Color Warm Palette
35 Color Glam Palette
Price:  $19.95 each

I don’t wear eye shadow every day, but I love to test out a good smokey eye for a night out!  These eye shadow pallets are the best!  I’m not sure why I got the rainbow colored one, but I figured it can’t hurt to have it.  The neutral one is more my style and has EVERY color I will ever need for that natural/sparkly/smokey eye look.  Every color is richly pigmented and they have great staying quality.  Did I mention the price?!  These giant palettes are SO affordable.  Check them out, you will not be disappointed.

Soft & Sparkly Mittens
Where to Buy:  TJ MAXX
Price:  $14.99 (Couldn’t find them on the website but here is a similar pair)

I picked these mittens up at TJ MAXX and my hands love to be inside of them.  I always find that mittens help keep my hands warmer than gloves.  They’re softer than soft and with the rhinestone detail, they’re pretty stylish also!

Soothing Cinnamon Kringle Candle
Where to Buy:
Price:  Anywhere from $3.00 to $27.95 each

I was given this candle as a gift from one of my customers at work and what better way to make your house or room smell like the holidays than with a Cinnamon smelling candle.  This particular scent isn’t available on their website anymore but you can pick it up on Amazon, or choose one of their other AMAZING holiday scents. The Kringle company prides itself on long lasting extremely fragrant candles in recyclable or reusable containers.  I’ve even gotten a candle in a mug, which I now use for my coffee. (A little insiders info, the owners of Kringle actually started Yankee Candle.  These candles are better though!)

Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss
Where to Buy:
Price:  $24.00 each or 3 for $27.00

Gerard Cosmetics makes this lip gloss that will drag you in on packaging alone!  They have a few great colors and the gloss is really pigmented and long lasting.  The gloss has a mirror on the outside AND when you unscrew the cap, a bright light turns on in the lid so you can apply perfectly every time!

Ciate Caviar Manicure
Where to Buy:  Sephora
Price:  $8.00 and up

This is a cool twist on a manicure.  The Ciate Caviar Manicure kit comes with a regular nail polish and a bottle of little nail caviar’s in different colors.  You apply 2 coats of the polish and then pour the caviar on your nail.  It looks really cool and is something different!  It even comes with a little funnel so you can pour the unused product back into the bottle.

Sam Smith – In the Lonely Hour
Where to Buy:
Price:  $12.99

I first fell in love with Sam Smith’s voice when I heard the song Stay With Me.  I was so enamored by his incredible voice, and the fact that he was a 22 year old British guy, that I had to check out the whole album.  This kind of music is not something I gravitate to, but Sam’s soothing melodic voice will please your ears no matter what kind of mood you’re in.  I really think the whole album is great for background music when you have company during the holidays, or just blasting a good ballad for the drive home from work.

Hope you enjoy all of my favorite things for this season!!
